How things are going nearly two years later..
After putting it on, I immediately could tell that this new strap is a HUGE W

Finally did the funny dual knit mod How do I look? 😅

@slukas There is no reason to invest in PCVR gaming at all. Zero
English

The more I see this the more compelled I am to stick w/ developing strictly for the Quest platform. Attempting to port to PCVR sounds like a big time investment with no backers, while leveraging the Meta SDK means getting 1st class access to sw they’ve optimized to their platform
Guy Godin@VRDesktop
VR Developers, don’t use the Meta XR SDK to develop your games. Whether you use Unity or Unreal, you should use the built-in OpenXR support in the engines. The Meta XR SDK only works with Quest & Link; it is a buggy mess hardcoded to not work with other runtimes and headsets.

@mundoxrbrasil lol. We all know who you are referring to

@jmancurly I need to grab mine to verify but I thought there was a way to do this
Like everything you do I thought was transcribed in the app

@cixliv @NimaZeighami @rek No way they going to the gym lol. Smaller/lighter robots incoming by human necessity 🤣
English

@matteo311 Sounds like you need a trip to Seattle. I heard there is a cool guy there
English

@AntonHand Learned my mom got taken for 75% of what she had over a scam last year during a random dinner conversation. Gutted me, still does
English

@NimaZeighami It is coming out (assuming) in a very interesting time for the state of other headsets out there.

Hello everyone 👋!
My team at Meta is currently evaluating some cool ideas to work with creators. I can't say much right now, but it looks to be a very exciting opportunity.
If you're a game studio or solo dev with successful titles for mobile, MR/VR, or UGC-type platforms such as Roblox, Fortnite, Horizon Worlds, Rec Room, Spatial, etc., then feel free to comment below and say hi!
Also, send me a DM, I'd love to work with you!

@JustinPBarnett I don’t actually agree your core point is true. It’s just a feeling of yours, void of any data. No different than an older generation saying doing “x” causes “y”.
Support your core points with some documentation or it’s just bait
English

@EricPresidentVR a bit baity, but the core point is true. it's a big tripping hazard or crutch that people will use and not be able to get past if they're not aware of it at least.
English

@JustinPBarnett But they shouldn’t use them day to day?
I think the original tweet is not really what you meant to say but is kinda just rage baity
English

@EricPresidentVR Oh I don't think you should avoid them. I think ai is the future. I just don't think people should differ all their decision making and reasoning skills to them. I see this happening a lot now, especially with beginners. They use ai to build stuff instead of using it to learn

In the past couple weeks, we're thrilled to see unbelievable demand for the Bigscreen Beyond 2.
Today, we're excited to announce a new model, Bigscreen Beyond 2 Pro Max
Beyond 2 is the world's smallest VR headset, weighing just 107 grams, and packs ultra-high resolution micro-OLED displays.
For Beyond 2 Pro Max, we invented an 8K resolution macro-OLED display and a next-generation macro-lens array (MLA). Beyond 2 Pro Max is proudly the beefiest VR headset ever made, weighing just over 2kg.
Prices start at $6,999, and it ships next year.
