@GeanyIDE I just found out that the compilation and build pass through the Geany IDE successfully without error with the following settings in the build as shown in the picture and the absence of the "%f" specifier.

@Spektr_Unknown I'd suggest to first try it out at a proper command line to figure out the correct parameters for gcc. It's unfortunately the wrong medium for live debugging gcc usage ;)

@GeanyIDE I have a command like this Compilation (gcc -g -Wall -c "%f" -pedantic) Build (gcc -Wall -o"%e" "%f" -pedantic) but the -Wall command should have covered all the files in the folder, but this did not happen.

@Spektr_Unknown Most C-compilers needs to be called very specific when it comes to includes, libraries and files to compile. (Un-)fortunately.

@Spektr_Unknown Most likely you have to adjust the C-compiling commands via the Build-menu to fit your needs. Have a look at #set-build-commands-dialog" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">geany.org/manual/#set-bu… and a few sections earlier on how to. In some cases it's a good idea to write a Makefile also in this early state of a project.

@Lola_Jax_xy @CodeWriterApp This might needs to be addressed with Scintilla project as we are using its code here. Have you opened up an issue in our tracker or check over there?

VS Code is way better than Visual Studio in my experience. It's not perfect, but it's fast, does everything I need, and doesn't get in my way.

@6502b @Microsoft @GIMP_Official @libreoffice We've seen it a few times so far, but as mentioned by the others it's not totally illegal. GPL allows you to sell software -- which is okish. What is not ok (IMHO) is the lagging written offer and missing pointing out it's GPL-software. Maybe you can report it /frlan

Come on @Microsoft the store is filled with open source software rip off. A quick search returns dozens of fake paid versions of @GIMP_Official, @libreoffice, @GeanyIDE, etc. It probably go against their licenses as well. how is this allowed
