What’s really funny about this is that while it is proffered as a ‘point’ or ‘meaning’ it is very clearly signposted that it’s not an ‘answer’ to the question of what the Backrooms is or means.

*spoilers* By far the weakest points in here are all the explanatory therapy shit. A lot of it could be explored more through context clues. It is absolutely not a subtle, or emotionally riveting movie. BUT as far as like my personal taste in horror imagery it was beyond fun

I really hate perception that Star Wars IS a movie/tv show brand. Like bro the best stories out there are in the books and comics which exist even longer than movies and tv shows. Star Wars was always an intermedia brand. Books and comics were always an important part of it

@regularaugust I think Kickassia was pretty smooth (in comparison, at least). It was Suburban Knights which was so miserable that they considered scrapping it and turning it into a documentary instead.
