Medical professionals earn about 300k a month.
That's what a 17-year-old banger boy who sits in his house posting on X earns in one week.
That you earn more than other corps members doesn't mean that you're intrinsically better than they are.
And if you insist that you are, then by your own logic, a banger boy should enjoy more societal respect than you, a Medical Doctor, since you have now tied respect and value to how much you earn.
So stay humble so that we can support you when you start crying about being underpaid by the government.

Even people who have never earned a dime in their life if not for NYSC will come to camp and call medical professionals 'students'. My internship salary per month will comfortably pay 2 corpers and I'll still see change. Even if your PPA pays you 100k we're still not your mate.

On this very day, many soldiers from Maiduguri realized they were about to be deployed around the Bama axis. Out of fear and understanding of the reality on ground, some dropped their rifles and abandoned the job entirely.
As we got to Konduga, we lost the captain to an IED while he was introducing us to the terrain. That was the moment many of us truly understood why some of the Maiduguri indigenes among us had chosen to flee earlier.
Some battles never truly leave the minds of those who survived them, and some wounds of war remain long after the gunfire fades.

Surgery Paeds Medicine O N G. Doing paeds first will mess with your mental health. Imagine cannulating a neonate when you're still learning cannulation. Medicine and O/G last because you need to be fresh when you start PP. PP is basically medicine and O n g.
