Dünya Genelindeki Hemşire İstihdam Krizi Raporu Yayınlandı! Ülkemizin de sendikamız HEP-SEN aracılığıyla temsil edildiği; 35 ülkeden, 41 hemşirelik merkezli sendikadan oluşan Küresel Hemşireler Birliği, hemşire istihdamındaki küresel krize dair yeni bir rapor yayımladı. Raporda, sağlık çalışanı eksikliği krizinin bölgelere göre farklı biçimlerde yaşandığı; Kuzey ülkelerinde zorlu çalışma koşullarının pek çok hemşirenin mesleği terk etmesine yol açtığı, Güney ülkelerinde ise sınırlı kaynakların hemşirelerin görev yapma kapasitesini kısıtladığı vurgulanıyor. Kök nedenler arasında hemşirelik emeğinin hak ettiği değeri görememesi, iş güvencesi sunmayan çalışma ortamları, denetimsiz teknoloji uygulamaları ve kamu sağlık altyapısına yapılan sistematik yatırım eksikliğinin öne çıktığına dikkat çekiliyor. Aşırı iş yükü, mesleki şiddet olayları ve yetersiz enfeksiyon kontrolü gibi etkenler de hemşirelerde tükenmişlik, moral bozukluğu ve hasta güvenliğinin zayıflamasına neden oluyor. Rapor; tüm sendikaları, hemşire-hasta oranlarının yasayla güvence altına alınması, adil ücretlendirme, makul çalışma süreleri ve sendikal hakların korunması için ortak bir mücadele yürütmeye çağırıyor.
