@Goldenforce772
TNG/DS9 fan only. Not into TOS because of a certain captain, not into Voyager because of an insufferable EMH, and post-2017 Trek is 95% intolerable.

@bennyjohnson LFG! Did we really go to the moon in 1969?

The new trailer for “Supergirl: Slut of Tomorrow” seems more like a commercial for Cymbalta or Prozac than a superhero movie. She’s Depressed. Drunk. Drinking. Sad. Hopeless. In despair. Always laying in darkness. Then somebody hurts her dog and suddenly she’s a hero? But only because she gets to kick some male ass? Nope, still not sold on Gunn’s anti-hero superhero trash. Like Superman, this trailer basically has everything needed to tell me it’s NO FUN… …right down to a funeral procession scene. This is what new Hollywood is: We sell you everything bad you go to movies to escape. 🖕 this movie and 🖕 James Gunn.

Even though Warner Bros is terrified to release any cartoons with Speedy Gonzales, we have never met anyone, including Latino, Mexican, Brazilian or anyone, that has found him offensive. In fact they say how much they loved him.

#Supergirl star Milly Alcock knows she'll face backlash by "simply existing as a woman in [franchise IP]." "We have become very comfortable having this weird ownership of women’s bodies. I can’t really stop them. I can only be myself." variety.com/2026/film/news…

Milly Alcock on what she learned from Game of Thrones about potential fan backlash to Supergirl: "It definitely made me aware that simply existing as a woman in that space is something that people comment on. We have become very comfortable having this weird ownership of women’ s bodies. I can’t really stop them. I can only be myself.” (Via @VanityFair)

Milly Alcock on how House of the Dragon prepared her for possible backlash she'll face from Supergirl: "It definitely made me aware that simply existing as a woman in that space is something that people comment on. We have become very comfortable having this weird ownership of women’s bodies. I can’t really stop them. I can only be myself." Is this a sign the film will be chock full of feminism?
