Neighbour's daughter who finished uni last year with a Masters was looking for work for months (anything) before being taken on by the supermarket she used to work part time when she was a student. Lots of young people wanting work. Not the jobs out there, not by a long way.

@KaiKai2492 The trick was having a wife or serious girlfriend. It’s the most attractive quality in a man.

My first job was at a Casino and I worked with this blonde woman a few years older than me. She would always talk to me and eventually asked her friend to ask me for my number, thought nothing of it and said sure. She then proceeded to text me at night after work and send me selfies of her in bed. Then she asked if one day I would like to come over after work to hangout or watch a movie and once again I was like sure, could be cool. I thought nothing of it and told my wife who I had already been with for like 4 years atp and she had to tell me the womans intentions lmao. Even then I was like "I'm sure you're overestimating besides she told me she has a bf" then the next day at work she mentioned her bf wouldn't be home when I came over and it clicked lol. Women didn't start paying attention to me until late in HS and I already thought very poorly about myself so the idea of an older woman being attracted to me and willing to cheat on her bf with me wasn't even something I considered. So yes, especially if you're insecure and don't have much experience a lot of us are clueless.

The boss babe dream is a lie. The vast majority of women will work a mid-level job that makes $40-60K a year for the rest of their lives. Most of these women had opportunities with good dudes when they were young that they passed up not realizing what they were doing.

Videos have emerged online featuring women in their 30s and 40s emotionally sharing their experiences of being single, childless, and lacking stable housing.

I find it odd how the blue collar career paths most important to society and infrastructure are looked down on by the left, while simultaneously they praise useless degrees like Gender Studies and encourage kids to pursue nonsense like that. What’s the explanation for this?

American healthcare worker says she has $105,309.76 of student loan debt Between her loans she’s accruing roughly $464 in interest debt alone every single month If she was to pay $1,000 per month, it would still take her 10 years to pay off this loan. Even at a $1,000 per month payment she would pay roughly $51,000 just in interest This is predatory lending. This is a scam

Gonna let you in on a secret... Europe isn't able to afford universal healthcare because they spend less on their military They are able to afford universal healthcare because it is cheaper per capita than the idiotic American system They can afford it because it is cheaper.

Boomers say, "We were promised that if we paid in, we'd be taken care of". Fine. But then boomers voted for unsustainable, unfunded government spending for decades, and now public sector debt is £3 trillion. They literally voted away their own pensions.

Saddest thing you will read all day: A 71 year old grandma from Ohio owes ~$108k of student loans. She was as a therapist for 40 years making minimum payments. Compound interest tripled the amount she originally borrowed. ....Millions of people are in this silent trap.

I saw a discussion about Argentina wanting to take the Falkland Islands. Chile apparently is backing their play. I looked up the size of the UK military in 1982 (when they fought the Falklands war) and compared it to its size today. They lost 60% of their capabilities since '82.

Millennial here. I bought my first house in 2009, about 2 years after graduating university. I had an entry level job making like $48k. I went to the bank with no money saved and got a 6% mortgage on a brand new 1600sf all brick house in a nice neighborhood outside Nashville. The price of that house, $189k, a $1,400/month payment after the loan was done. I also had a sub 700 credit score. Even I can see how good I had it just 20 years ago. These "live your best life" boomers are out of touch with reality.
Lee in Iowa@Lee_in_Iowa

Boomer here. I bought my first house after ten years of saving like crazy. And the interest was 14.5%. I don’t know where kids got the idea that they were due a house and new car at college graduation, but that’s NOT how it ever was.

@GordonWalker13 @chicfryrice You ever notice that Millennials, GenX, or GenZ never talk negatively about the Greatest or Silent Generation? Why is that? Gen Z against Gen X? Think about it, why do Boomers get a disproportionate amount of hate by multiple Generations. Look in the mirror & it's not economic.

From grok’s mouth. To live today it is 74.5% of income. In 1980 it was 41% because very little was paid for childcare, health insurance, and student loans. Remember this next time people say younger generations are entitled, spoiled, or lazy. Don’t forget social security taxes have doubled from 7% to 15% today so we are paying more than people used to pay. Cheerio.

Men: “Vag!nas are gross, too hairy and smelly. If you want me anywhere near you, you’d better be clean-shaven, a certain shape, and smell artificial. Breasts are only attractive if they’re perky and symmetrical. Cellulite is disgusting. Take care of yourselves. Women who don’t shave or wear makeup are unattractive. So are older women bc they get fat, saggy and wrinkled. No wonder their husbands don’t want to sleep with them anymore.” At this point, I have to ask: are you even attracted to women? Because it doesn’t sound like you actually like anything about the adult female body, the standard you’re describing sounds more like that of a child or a teenager.
