Potomak Kulina bana i Husein kapetana Gradaščevića "U Bosni zvono crkve nikad nije smetalo glasu mujezina." To je moja Bosna!!

Sjećanje na žrtve Holokausta i jasenovačkog logora nosi za mene duboko lično i profesionalno značenje. Veza između bošnjačke i jevrejske zajednice, izgrađena na zajedničkom iskustvu progona, genocida i borbe za pamćenje, nešto je čemu sam posvetio značajan dio svog javnog i privatnog života, često uz visoku ličnu cijenu. Upravo zato ne mogu šutjeti. politicki.ba/vijesti/suljag…

Yehuda Kaploun U.S. Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combating Antisemitism 03/29/2026 Dear Mr. Kaploun, I write to you as Emir Suljagić, Director of the Srebrenica Memorial Centre, regarding reports that Mr. Milorad Dodik plans to host or participate in your forthcoming visit and the commemoration of the WWII Jasenovac camp. While honoring the memory of Holocaust victims and maintaining Jewish–Bosniak ties is of deep importance to me and to the Srebrenica Memorial Centre, I must respectfully draw your attention to Mr. Dodik’s long record of denial and public hostility toward the victims and survivors of the 1995 Srebrenica genocide. His statements – most egregiously describing the remains buried by bereaved families in the Srebrenica memorial cemetery as “animal bones” – are not merely insulting rhetoric; they are active erasure of documented atrocity and grave harm to survivors and victims’ families. Given your vital role fighting antisemitism and promoting respect for memory and truth, it would be deeply troubling for you to be publicly associated with a political figure who persistently denies another genocide. Such association risks lending legitimacy to denialist politics and undermines the principles of memory, justice, and intercommunal solidarity that both our communities seek to uphold. As a friend of the Jewish people who has dedicated my public and personal life to preserving bridges between Bosniaks and Jews – often at great personal cost – I urge you to reconsider any public engagement with Mr. Dodik without a clear, public repudiation of his denialist statements. At minimum, I respectfully request that you: a. Be aware of and publicly acknowledge Mr. Dodik’s record of Srebrenica denial if you proceed with any formal engagement; and/or b. Decline public appearances that could be perceived as an endorsement of Mr. Dodik, or condition meetings on a clear distancing from denialist rhetoric. If you would find it useful, I am available to provide documentation and testimony regarding Mr. Dodik’s statements and the impact they have on survivors, families, and memorial work. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly before any public engagement takes place. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter and for your continued work in defense of memory and human dignity. I look forward to your response. Respectfully, Emir Suljagić @StateSEAS @USEmbassySJJ @StateDept @SrebrenicaMC @MSrebrenice @SrebrenicaUK

Suljagić pisao Trumpovom izaslaniku za borbu protiv antisemitizma s kojim je Dodik najavio susret: Imam dva zahtjeva za vas klix.ba/clanak/2603290…
