It’s wild to me the with the forecast we have and the current growing conditions how much fertilizer has/is going out on the wheat right now.

@SawyerWhisler @jamesdecker2006 The farmers that outlast every one also do multiple things, they do custom work, they run trucks, they make sound market decisions, and many work a full time job outside of farming. I think the best thing a guy can do is have a lot of irons in the fire.

The farmers who outlast everyone else share one trait. They're willing to look stupid trying something new. They don't care if the neighbors think the pumpkin patch is a joke. They're playing a different game.

@Grainger20 Thanks but tea shops weren’t a thing when I got started, and I chose to build my empire out of spite to all the neighbors instead of relying on someone to just give it to me.

@Grainger20 Farm inputs are high, that keeps me in a bad mood. Then seeing people bitch about farm profitability that have a backing such as a rich dad, or a tea shop just really keeps me down.

If you want to know how dumb most people are, here it is. An Amarillo TX city park has been taken over by prairie dogs, there are people on Facebook suggesting they relocate them, or make it a prairie dog exhibit. You can’t make this up, prairie dogs are absolutely useless.
