Everyone should read what the Israeli military did to journalist Amal Khalil today in this minute-by-minute account as the international community watched in horror. First the text messages threatening her then trapping her and a photographer in a house then bombing them then firing on international rescue crews, all with the world watching in real time. There are no words left for the horrors that U.S. political leaders are enabling.

🚨BREAKING🚨Israeli forces are now issuing direct death threats to Lebanese journalists on WhatsApp as well as besieging them. Al-Akhbar correspondent @AmalKhalil83, who has been documenting the devastation across southern Lebanon, received these messages from an Israeli number (+972 54-869-5113): “We know where you are… we will reach you… leave if you want to keep your head on your shoulders.” First message: “Alright, my lady, you are moving from one village to another, but you still haven’t gone to enough funerals or hospitals. There is a lot of grief & sorrow behind that smile you try to show on Twitter. Let’s see what your answer will be… Is your house still standing, Anisa (Miss)? I hope so?” Second message: “We know where you are & we will reach you when the time comes. Even though you are not important to us, in the end we will take everything into account. I suggest you flee to Qatar or somewhere else if you want to keep your head connected to your shoulders :)” This is not intimidation. This is the IDF issuing an explicit death threat to a journalist for covering their crimes. At the same time, Israeli forces besieged Amal al-Khalil & journalist Zeinab Faraj in al-Tayri, blocking the Red Cross & Lebanese Army from reaching them. They were in a delegate vehicle when a drone strike hit a vehicle behind them, killing two people. Both journalists were trapped at the scene. Amal contacted the Red Cross before her phone died. Her last message confirmed she was still safe. Rescue teams still cannot reach the two besieged journalists, Amal al-Khalil & Zeinab Faraj. They are just 500 meters away, but the road has been cut off by an Israeli strike, according to Red Cross paramedics. This is targeting journalists in real time. This is a crime. Pure state terrorism against the press.

They could only be talking about Lascars of which there were none in the First Fleet. There were some with the Sydney Cove when it sank near Preservation Island, 1797. But they arent confirmed to be Muslim either.
Meshy@meshygrey

An official government document containing activist history and clear inaccuracies is now preserved in the national archive. Future generations will read it and get a distorted view of Australia’s past. The Albanese Government launched the Multicultural Framework Review report Towards Fairness on 24 July 2024 together with its formal response. homeaffairs.gov.au/multicultural-… On page 18 it claims Muslim people were among the convicts on the First Fleet. This is incorrect. There were no confirmed Muslims on the First Fleet. Muslims arrived as isolated individuals in the early 1800s, with the first significant community (Afghan cameleers) only in the 1860s. The report praises the Afghan cameleers but omits the 1915 Broken Hill attack, where two cameleers carried out Australia’s first jihad terrorist attack on a civilian picnic train, killing 4 people. The Government had months to review the draft. These errors should have been corrected, not added to the archive! @andrewjgiles @aushomeaffairs @ausgov @naagovau @DaveSharma

A random YouTube channel just did the back to back calculations on his theory that Starlink v3 is useable/used as global real time space based phased radar array. It’s an extremely daring hypothesis with a very exciting chain of reasoning backing it up. Link in reply.

Casual sex is unironically a huge part of why so many women have become politically radicalized. If you ask a random woman why she hates men, 95% chance it boils down to sexual grievance, accumulated from embarrassing experiences like the OP. In other words, women are the real incels (in spirit). I witnessed this myself in college: one too many bad situationships, and they begin to carry this feeling of being a piece of meat everywhere, projecting it onto “society” despite there being zero material evidence of structural misogyny in the West. The bitter irony is that hookup / situationship culture is a byproduct of feminism; they fought for the ability to be treated like pieces of meat, to be equal to men sexual the way gay men are with each other, but the attainment of this freedom has done nothing but foment an even deeper hatred of their father’s civilization

How To AI
How To AI@HowToAI_·
Yann LeCun was right the entire time. And generative AI might be a dead end. For the last three years, the entire industry has been obsessed with building bigger LLMs. Trillions of parameters. Billions in compute. The theory was simple: if you make the model big enough, it will eventually understand how the world works. Yann LeCun said that was stupid. He argued that generative AI is fundamentally inefficient. When an AI predicts the next word, or generates the next pixel, it wastes massive amounts of compute on surface-level details. It memorizes patterns instead of learning the actual physics of reality. He proposed a different path: JEPA (Joint-Embedding Predictive Architecture). Instead of forcing the AI to paint the world pixel by pixel, JEPA forces it to predict abstract concepts. It predicts what happens next in a compressed "thought space." But for years, JEPA had a fatal flaw. It suffered from "representation collapse." Because the AI was allowed to simplify reality, it would cheat. It would simplify everything so much that a dog, a car, and a human all looked identical. It learned nothing. To fix it, engineers had to use insanely complex hacks, frozen encoders, and massive compute overheads. Until today. Researchers just dropped a paper called "LeWorldModel" (LeWM). They completely solved the collapse problem. They replaced the complex engineering hacks with a single, elegant mathematical regularizer. It forces the AI's internal "thoughts" into a perfect Gaussian distribution. The AI can no longer cheat. It is forced to understand the physical structure of reality to make its predictions. The results completely rewrite the economics of AI. LeWM didn't need a massive, centralized supercomputer. It has just 15 million parameters. It trains on a single, standard GPU in a few hours. Yet it plans 48x faster than massive foundation world models. It intrinsically understands physics. It instantly detects impossible events. We spent billions trying to force massive server farms to memorize the internet. Now, a tiny model running locally on a single graphics card is actually learning how the real world works.

The real issue for Australia isn’t just the US alliance itself – it’s the lack of independent thinking in Australian political leadership about what that alliance actually means, and not letting the public know about it.
