@ShabanaMahmood how is “ smashing the gangs” going? Or “ 1 in 1 out? Nothing is happening . Effectively a dereliction of duty. Sunny days and more illegal dinghies with illegal immigrants . Will you pay the cost? Perhaps MP’s freeze their salaries until it is stopped . Why pay the French 0.5 billion? If they are being ineffective and exporting the cost?

English

@DanielJHannan How about a politician telling them? You could start? Hold on? You are milking the system! Need to give my son a lecture! Become a politician …. If you have no morality !
English

Let’s not forget, it wasn’t long ago he was lauding Mandelson …..” to us he’s just Peter” …and milking the applause! Nolan Principles have gone out of the window with Starmer. You need to ask him to resign. PMQ’s appears to have become “ Opposition Leader’s Questions” Or perhaps ( under the trade description act) , it needs to be renamed: PMDAQ’s - Prime Minister Doesn’t Answer Questions!

Watch Conservative MP @A_J_Snowden embarrass Keir Starmer in PMQs 🔥
What is Keir Starmer trying to hide? Why won’t he tell the British public if he spoke to Mandelson about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein?
English

You’ve lost sight of British values. One value is integrity. You’ve lost it. I would suggest you re - read the Nolan Principles of Public Life.. You will see integrity is incorporated into these principles as well . In my view, you have failed with all 7 principles. You should consider resignation before deflecting to the opposition . You’re PM, for god sake. Take responsibility for your mistakes!

@NetZeroWatch Miliband is well on the way of “ turning the lights off for the whole country “ with his Net Zero Ideology.

@triffic_stuff_ We’re not “ the viewers “ . We are your “ electorate “. You ( Ed) are a public servant. You have forgotten.

🚨ED MILIBAND EXPOSED ON LIVE TV: LEFT SPEECHLESS WHEN SHOWN STAGGERING CHART REVEALING GOVERNMENT'S HUGE TAX GRAB ON FUEL! 🔥⛽️
Government's Massive Fuel Tax Grab Is The Real Culprit Behind Sky-High Prices 📈
In a jaw-dropping BBC interview yesterday, Energy Secretary Ed Miliband was utterly cornered by Laura Kuenssberg on the soaring cost of fuel.
She nailed him with the hard fact: the government's own fuel duty makes up a whopping 38% of every litre's price, the biggest slice of the pie! And when you factor in VAT, taxes swallow over half of what we pay at the pump.
Miliband had zero comeback, just his usual waffle and deflection, blaming oil companies for "profiteering" amid the global oil spike from the US-Israel-Iran conflict. But come on, Ed, the duty's been frozen, sure, but why not cut it now if the cost of living crisis is really your "number one priority"?
All this hot air about "we'll do this, we might do that" rings hollow when the government could slash taxes today and give real relief to struggling families.
And let's not forget their bonkers net zero agenda, piling on even more costs with green levies and mandates that are bleeding us dry. 😡
J Stewart@triffic_stuff_
Ed, your Net-Zero fanaticism is straight-up causing the cost-of-living crisis. You, Starmer & Co keep banging on that tackling the cost of living is your "number one priority", yet you stubbornly cling to the most expensive green agenda imaginable. You can’t do both. One is directly causing the other. Full stop. Now do us all a favour: put the guitar down, stop singing in the wind like a clown and actually do something useful for once!

@JohnCleese Thank you John . You ( and Monty Python) brought so much laughter, for so many young people

A Human Rights Lawyer does not have the interest of the country ( tax payers) at heart. Their whole income ( Matrix Chambers/Doughty Chambers) is disputes between sovereign law and ECHR law . If they win…… the taxpayers pay . That’s Starmer - his whole wealth is dependent on the taxpayer. Nothing creative.
English

@Ed_Miliband Simply delusional. Record high taxes ( promised no tax increases in manifesto) . Government ( particularly you via Net Zero mantra/ belief) is killing the economy.
English

@LeeHarris @JChimirie66677 That’s what I thought! So if petrol prices go up the Government gets more!
English

@LeeHarris @JChimirie66677 Am I missing something? VAT on petrol? Isn’t 20%?

@LeeHarris @JChimirie66677 This is where you need Alan Sugar in a new TV series “ The Politician “ . He gets them to answer direct questions. If they don’t answer directly or do not carry through on the action - they’re fired!!
English

You have been so profligate with taxpayers money ( perhaps if it was coming from your account it would be different) , I will help you to help the taxpayer to reduce the cost of living: 1/ Freeze MP’s salaries. No targets have been met. No 5% increase in April 2026. 2/ Cut Fuel duty from 52.95 p per litre to 47.95 p per litre from 1st April 2026 ( 5p per litre saving for “ the workers “) 3/ No increase of Fuel Duty in September 2026. Three actual ACTIONS. There is a 4th - which wouldn’t save money but would benefit UK Society - Resign. Accountability and integrity has to be shown to exist in the UK.

Working together with our allies, we are continuing our diplomatic response to the situation in the Middle East.
This matters for Britain’s security, and the cost of living.
Brilliant to see you today, @MarkJCarney - and happy birthday!

English

@Conservatives @NetZeroWatch The answer Ed was looking for was : “ No” ! But the government is so profligate with current taxes they need more…and more … Perhaps freeze MP’s pay rise in April? It’s no longer affordable by the taxpayer! Feel pain.
