I started making rust content over 8 years ago. It blows my mind how far everything has come since then. No one was covering it like we were back in the day, and there were only a few main rust channels back then. Myself, VERTiiGO, Phaedo82, Shadowfrax, Holdacious and BCHILLZ. To see so many lives changed, so many full time content creators come out of this, relationships, weddings and Rust people attending them, life long friendships, massive events and videos that garner millions of views (and at this point, billions), it's just insane to me. I can't believe I've stuck around for so long, even if I'm dusty furniture compared to some of these guys who elevated the game we love to the next level. The devs have been the absolute best dev team I've ever seen, even if we don't agree with some of their decisions from time-to-time. Anyway, there's no point to this tweet. I had to scroll through old footage from 2015 the other day for my new video, and I started feeling all nostalgic. Hope you enjoyed a brief view from an old DAWG. Can't wait to see what comes out of the next 8 years!
