One thing I have learned from Euros is America had to invent other games like baseball because they weren’t good at soccer. Here is the problem: according to Grok, modern soccer rules took shape in 1863 in London whereas modern baseball dates back to 1845 in New York. 😁

Dear Europeans, while you are closely following the World Cup realize most Americans are watching the NBA Finals, baseball and preparing for fantasy football (NFL). We will turn our attention to soccer if our boys make a run. We will also act like we are huge fans and laugh if we beat you. However, if we lose at any point, we won’t think twice about it. We do hope all that traveled here has a great time and gets to experience our beautiful land.

@KidoLFC8 Europoors think soccer isn’t mostly about athleticism because they’ve seldom seen athletes play it. The truth is, the US is the most athletic country in the world, physically and culturally. If we ever start caring about it, we wipe them.

the US are ironically largely dominating the game due to being far more athletic and winning every 2nd ball after everyone was saying the US can never be good at football because its not just about being super athletic
