@paytick2 @Diana_European @eeldenden Sweden has unlimited wind power potential, as does Spain. Plenty of options for replacing gas now that Spain's grid is ready for 24/7 operation without thermal backup. And Sweden has more parking lot to cover with solar per person than Spain does.

@Guzzak @eeldenden Once per day and a few days in a year, isn't a big deal, there are 365 days or 8760h in a year, meanwhile France with less renewables uses much less gas and therefore can better withstand oil/gas crisis as far as electricity goes but as I said Electricity is just one energy...

@MarcoLo61955229 @eeldenden South Australia was first to reach this milestone. Scotland was first to reach 100% with wind. Spain is the first in Europe to hit 100% solar at least once per day. They're leaders & yes, industry obviously uses fossils but they're now in a better position to lead industry away.

@Guzzak @eeldenden Don't be silly, no one with a bit of knowledge will believe you. And electricity isn't even the only energy source, cars, heating among other things run on gas/oil. So yes they are just as screwed as most other EU states.
