STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART; About a month ago, my wife told me she needed some space. She moved out of our bedroom into another room and has been sleeping there ever since. At first, I thought it would only last a few days, but nothing has changed. Last Saturday, I went into the room where she's sleeping now and tried to be affectionate because I miss the closeness we used to share. She pushed me away and told me she wasn’t in the mood and said she also needs space from intimacy. I’ve asked her several times to explain what’s going on, but she keeps saying she just needs space and doesn’t want to be disturbed. We’ve only been married for 9 months , and as far as I know, I haven’t done anything to deserve this kind of treatment. I’m confused and hurt. What should I do? Thomas

STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART; My girlfriend & I have been together for 17 months. She has a 6-year-old son, and during this time, I’ve taken on most of the responsibilities for him,. School fees, clothes, food, medical care, everything. When we met, she told me the child’s father was in Dubai, that he was a deadbeat who wasn’t involved in his son’s life and refused to provide any financial support. But last Wednesday, a man showed up at my workplace and introduced himself as her ex and the child’s father. I've no idea how he found me. He said he wanted to talk, but I was already angry based on what I’d been told, so I accused him of neglecting his responsibilities. He also got angry and pulled out his phone, showing me proof that he had been sending money,.. 500k every month for his son! He also said my girlfriend had been blocking him from speaking to the child, always giving excuses whenever he called. He thought it was me causing the problems. When I got home, I confronted her. She cried and asked for forgiveness but refused to explain where the money from her ex has been going. I don’t know what to think or do next. Any advice? Solomon.
