Mumbai needs both infrastructure & environmental protection. Mangroves are our natural shield. They must be protected. But projects that cut commute from 2 hours to 20–40 minutes can’t be stalled endlessly. The Supreme Court has cleared #Mumbai’s Coastal Road with compensatory afforestation & 10 years of monitoring. @mybmc must plant multiple trees for every mangrove impacted. Unfortunately, two cousins oppose every project by framing it as environment vs development or Marathi vs non-Marathi, while quietly using the same infrastructure. Under @mieknathshinde ji & Mahayuti, the path is clear: development with responsibility.
