I appreciate the compliment from him but I agree that the dig on NXT is unnecessary.
I think from a technical standpoint Brodie is more advanced than a lot of wrestlers across the board, regardless of company.
I’m not trying to insult anyone else and I’m not delusional on what my kid can do.
Brodie is learning from 2 world class technical wrestlers while having an unmatched passion as well as natural talent.

Joey gets a bad rap. He’s helped so many guys in the biz.
Brodie rules too. Such a great family.
But why is NXT catching strays? I don’t think Dave realizes that when he says stuff like this, it hurts the people he’s trying to compliment.

Foo Fighters are interesting for me in that I have a generally high opinion of them and like a lot of their albums (Wasting Light is INCREDIBLE) but if someone compares them to, say, Pearl Jam or Nirvana I always think “… them?”
Like there’s a ceiling to how highly I can praise them comfortably.
