🚨💣NEW: Xabi Alonso has reportedly agreed to become the new manager of Chelsea and is now expected to sign a three-year contract with the club. 👀
Sources close to the negotiations indicate personal terms have already been accepted, with Alonso said to be fully convinced by the long-term vision presented to him behind the scenes.
However, major discussions are still ongoing regarding the level of control Alonso will have over the squad and transfer operations.
It is understood the Spaniard wants significant authority to reshape the dressing room, including the power to approve exits, remove underperforming players, and bring in profiles that fit his mentality and tactical demands.
