@Hermzer1773 @MEvsIRS interesting, I've found journalling to be effective for emotions, but only sometimes. I think it's prob cuz I was struggling with serotonin levels, plus I found somatic experiencing to be more effective for that

The lack of emotion in your writing won’t bind it in your brain, it won’t happen. It needs to occur via the heart (emotion links subconscious) only then will your body go into action. Tell me do you think to yourself “I am happy” and you become happy? Or do FEEL happy then your body reacts with a smile randomly without will power? You want a fake forced smile or a real effortless one? You want to force yourself to be great or become great easily? Does a person who doesn’t wanna climb a mountain climb it? Or does the person who’s hyped (and maybe on drugs) climb it? Exactly.

I fixed my depression and lethargy through writing. Also a very plausible method. After some ai searching found out about michel montaigne (dude who created essays, yes, he is responsible for high school essays). He also (very much like me) thought himself to be a loser. Ended up being mayor, twice. Only by writing. I picked up writing and I am a new man. Light grounds you to earth, and makes things effortless. I legit did not have the willpower to stop myself from gaming, then I wrote down, the night before. “I am a fucking loser and I need to stop gaming, I will not game tomorrow, god willing.” Legit haven’t touched any game since, just been grinding and happier.
