We were originally rebooked for Thursday August 24th, 11 DAYS after original departure! Thank goodness we were staying with family, and able to manage 4 more days. Flying home to Ontario tomorrow, hopefully.

@DerayZhem @HezCuthbert @Lynx_Air @antlejournalist I saw your cbc article, In case you do a follow up- our lynx flight was canceled Sunday night and rebooked for August 26, and after hours on hold they conceded to book us for yesterday, and that flight was delayed 3 hours with no clear communication.

@Lynx_Air We are in shock! Flight home from Newfoundland THIS SUNDAY, August 13th was CANCELLED. Rebooked for THURSDAY AUGUST 24TH. Are you kidding me!?!? And a REFUND is the best you can do?! We have appointments the week of August 14th!

@DerayZhem @Lynx_Air That's great! We were rebooked to Thursday as that was the earliest they could do. 😡 A lot of rescheduling required to make that work! But what can you do? 🤷‍♀️ Air Travel SUCKS!

@HezCuthbert @Lynx_Air Thanks! We finally got through and got rebooked to Tuesday. Still two days later than planned but better than two weeks I guess! We will send an email to try to get compensation as well and see what happens. Thanks and good luck to you too!

@DerayZhem @Lynx_Air It took a while to get ahold of an agent. Hopefully they can rebook you on an earlier flight.🤞 Online chat also had a wait, once you got past the bot "Kat". Applying for inconvenience compensation under the Air Travel Act (separately) was a bit challenging too! Good luck!

We don't want to spend the last few days of our vacation on hold with customer service or scrambling to find an alternate flight home (at incredible extra personal cost $$$$$). We have a 7 year old that just wants to go home. Please just get us home!!!
