Conservative-run Hillingdon Council was on the brink of bankruptcy due to their financial mismanagement. This Labour government has stepped in with £88m in Exceptional Funding to balance the budget. The Conservatives shouldn’t be able to do this again. On May 7, Vote Labour.

The Council had to delete their previous comment as it was iterating Conservative post. Now they are choosing to comment on correcting our post again only talking about 1 year of the three year settlement. Aren't council communications supposed to apolitical?

Under the Conservative govt, @Hillingdon funding was cut by 7% in real terms. Under this Labour govt, @Hillingdon is getting a 47% real terms increase. FYI, @Hillingdon_Tory the Council tax is decided by the Council. The clue is in the name. Either clueless or liars.

The Labour Government recently gave Hillingdon Council £126 million in additional funding for core services. Labour councillors wanted the Council to say "thank you". They were voted down by the Conservatives and the Hayes Independents #FairerHillingdon

On the #LabourDoorstep in #Hayes, residents say Tory Hillingdon ignores them and doesn't care. A widow in tears, hounded for care fees never invoiced while her husband was alive, yet Tories allows ex-colleagues to walk away from unpaid debts and bankrupt council. Disgraceful.

This former MOD site, which once housed military personnel, now sits derelict - serving both as an eyesore and a reminder of the urgent need to refurbish empty homes in the middle of a housing crisis. I’m raising this issue with the GLA and the Government.
