"A WH spokeswoman called the protests 'Trump derangement therapy sessions.'"
The people I met at No Kings were sane and well-adjusted. The people suffering from Trump derangement syndrome are those who work for him and slavishly praise and bow to him.

Trump tries to shrug off No Kings protests — but is hit by astounding turnout rawstory.com/no-kings-turno…

Renee Good and Alex Pretti are unavailable to discuss peaceful protesting having zero consequences.

The Libs at the No Kings rally in Minnesota sing "none of us are free until all of us are free" with zero sense of irony that they're allowed to do all this nonsense with zero consequences.

@SenTinaSmith It’s about Communism. Just look who’s funding it. Perhaps you could try nominating candidates that people voted for. You know, instead of installing a Queen.

The No Kings movement is about so much more than just standing up to one President. This is about loving your neighbors. It’s about sticking up for people we don’t even know. It’s about witnessing injustice and having that gut feeling that what we’re seeing is wrong, that we have a moral obligation to do something.
When masked federal agents invaded our state, killed two of our own citizens and split apart innocent families, we took them by surprise. They weren’t expecting peaceful resistance. They weren’t familiar with how Minnesota handles bullies. They weren’t expecting someone to record what they did to Renee Good. They weren’t expecting someone to record what they did to Alex Pretti. They weren’t expecting someone to capture a picture of Liam Conejo Ramos.
When they sent armed, masked secret police to intimidate us, we peacefully resisted in every way we could. We recorded their violence for the world to see. We blew whistles. We delivered food for neighbors scared to leave their homes. We arranged carpools. We marched. And they left because the world saw the very best of Minnesota contrasted against the cruelty of this Administration.
Today is a day of remembrance and a day of resistance. A day to show them once again that we are stronger than they thought we were. That we are united. Because in Minnesota, we know the power of organizing.
Because in America, we bow to no king.

Putting the current leader’s name and image on everything is an authoritarian move, designed to make them seem more present, more powerful, more invincible than they are. It is a betrayal of American democracy, where power belongs to the people.

@JaworskiForTX Here’s an idea:
Nominate better candidates.
No charge for the advice.
English

@SPrather3 Lets see if they will out next weekend praising the real king? Jesus!

@herotimeszero And before that it was Palestine.
Trans rights before that.
Pussy hats before that - no idea.
BLM before that.
Occupy Wall Street before that.
Not sure what I missed, but why not try just nominating better candidates?

@StopAntisemites This was NOT at No Kings. It was the other day. These people do not speak for the majority of No Kings protesters, but they do have their 1st Amendment rights to protest. Perhaps if Trump & Bibi weren't bombing the shit out of the middle east, they wouldn't be protesting.

Philadelphia, PA - at today's “No Kings” protest, a journalist captured participants screaming "Death to America, Death to the Zionist Entity (Israel), Long Live the Intifada."
According to their website - “No Kings” upholds a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events.
The No Kings protests are orchestrated by the 50501 Movement; the three funders of the 50501 Movement are:
- Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss' Foundation ($293.6 million)
- George Soros’ Open Society Foundation ($194.2 million)
- Arabella ($47 million)
So much for “grassroots” fighting against Kings.
