How do you know your vote was counted?

The underlying assumption that there has to be a certain level of trust is what is incorrect; we can design this with a zero-trust approach. I am not asking for a live tv ballot count though I wouldn't mind it - what I am asking for is open sourcing the system and making it auditable.

@HoweThoughtful They provide you a list of everyone's vote that was counted. There would HAVE to be a certain level of trust. The only way to do what you seem to be asking for is to show on live tv every ballot with every voter's name on it being hand counted. But that's what audits are for.

How do you know your vote was counted?

From what I could find it looks like it was 390mg at 30oz and 260 at 20oz. It is just an unexpected amount to me. The closest thing I would compare hearing "charged lemonade" to without any other information would be an arnold palmer (black tea with lemonade) and that comes in probably around 60mg at 30 ounces since its 50/50. I would have assumed charged lemonade was panera's version of an arnold palmer.

@SanteeJacksonSr I like it but ultimately it has the same problem - just the totals with no verifiable way for an individual voter to track their vote. Basically - its a lot of trust involved on our part with no way to confirm there wasn't a man-in-the-middle alteration.

@snackpack210 @nypost I agree that charged implies caffeine - just not the level per serving they had. I would think black tea or coffee levels which float around 100mg lets say. This had over 300 per serving I think.

@SanteeJacksonSr That sounds right, but the issue is that we can only confirm your ballot was received. However we can't confirm it counted. We sorta just trust once our vote is received everything is tallied appropriately.

@HoweThoughtful Each state has different voting rules. I voted absentee in Texas for years. The state has a website that tracks your vote and tells you if your ballot was received and accepted.
