absolute financial illiteracy if you have $5M in your "bank account" and you're complaining that you "don't spend enough time with the kids" then it's a skill issue 5 million soldiers put to work, let's say paid off house 500k and 4.5M put to work at 10% a year that's 450k a year, let's say 5% worst case scenario is 225k a year covers EVERYTHING you need to cover

Beast Games winner Tyler Lucas says he doesn't feel rich after winning $5,000,000 as he still works a job in the military 👀 "nothing has changed for me in my life.. still working hard, still serving.. I barely see my kids right now, Its just a big number in my bank account"

@Mrgunsngear Augusta has very very strict rules about attire and a bunch of other things. Secret Service was likely forced to adhere to the dress code while Reagan was there, so we have this

Since The Masters just wrapped up this piece of history seems fitting: In 1983 an armed man took hostages at Augusta National & demanded to speak with President Reagan who was playing the course at the time. This photo was snapped of Secret Service agents responding to the situation on the course 🇺🇸 #Masters #TheMasters #AugustaNational #secretservice #UZI #drip #history

Swalwell has not dropped out yet. He will soon, since he has no more donors and his website is closed and not accepting any new donors. However, California rules state that he must remain on the ballot for Governor since he failed to drop out prior to the drop date. This could be fun.

Whatever you believe about whether Swalwell sexually assaulted anyone, it is looking increasingly like he frequently cheated on his wife and engaged in an inappropriate amount of drinking around staffers. That type of behavior is not compatible with any serious elected office, in my opinion. As Democrats, we need to sit down and discuss why so many men in American politics behave like this, and why, with that in mind, we think that being a female politician is less electorally appealing. What is it about men that act this way that makes them charismatic to voters? What is it about women, in general, that does not? Whichever way these accusations go, the fact remains that female politicians cannot act this way, and never have acted this way, and yet, their very integrity somehow makes them less compelling to the media, their colleagues, donors, and voters. What does this say about us as a society? Nothing good, I'm sure.

Recently, the NY Post ran a story about Kristi Noem's husband Bryan, whose family wishes he would leave her due to her basically open affair with Corey Lewandowski. It turns out, Bryan is a crossdresser who likes to wear giant fake boobs and leggings showing off his curves. He sent pictures like these to women he met online who he would send money to. He sent at least $25,000 to his online roster. Oh yeah, and he was doing this while his wife was running DHS. Is he an autogynephilia? Or was it revenge for getting cucked by Corey? Note his face is clearly visible in many of the photos, and he even discussed the affair. Perhaps both? I have a book coming out on how populism leads to the worst people being in power across a wide variety of dimensions. You should preorder.

I'm not defending. Just explaining. The only "random" murder victims that get / keep public-attention / media-traction are college-going or college-educated non-black women. Seriously. Can you name another? I don't make the rules. I don't like the rules. nypost.com/2026/03/11/us-…

I have a serious question for New Yorkers and supporters of @ZohranKMamdani . Why won’t our mayor acknowledge the murder of 83 year old Richard Williams. A cancer survivor and a military veteran of our 🇺🇸. A man who fought for the very freedoms that allow our city and country to flourish today. Where is the media asking the mayor - why no respectful acknowledgement? I’m not even including that the perpetrator was a migrant. Where is Room 9 in City Hall? Mr Williams appears to be a nice elderly man who thrown to the tracks in a NYC subway station and no respectable acknowledgment from our mayor. Sad. Anyone want to opine? @JustinBrannan @SalAlbaneseNYC @politico @THECITYNY @nytimes @Gothamist @nypost @samraskinz @sidrosenberg19

Personally I think people are completely misreading Jackson. She's not dumb; she's uninterested in following legal principles she doesn't agree with. She's not unlike Scalia in the early days, and I think the future of liberal jurisprudence is much more likely to look like her than Kagan.

The Judge during the Afroman trial let them know that he didn’t like him & apparently didn’t like their verdict either & the Jury is speaking out about it because they say what he did was wrong.People are saying he needs to step down now because it doesn’t matter what he thinks.

A quick comment on Afroman. I think a lot of liberals have caricatures of midwestern folks' views about race and the police, and there's a lot of bipartisan disdain for juries. So it's worth noting that an Ohio jury bought a free speech argument by an LA rapper sued by cops.

I have to admit, that quote in the Slate article where Lindy says this book has to float her family for the next few years, I'm like, what is this? A family that consists of two other able-bodied adults. Why is this all on her? And then I feel guilty for being judgmental, but honestly. What in Sam Hill is going on? lolol

The absolute best way to understand the difference between US and Mexican culture is to watch how people leave a dinner party. 🇺🇸 The US: You wait for a lull in conversation, announce to the table that it is getting late, thank the host, and walk to your car. Total time: five minutes max 🇲🇽 The Mexican: You announce you are leaving. This initiates a new round of conversation. Ten minutes later, you stand up. Then you go to every single person in the room for a hug, a kiss on the cheek, and a small departing chat. Total time: thirty minutes, at least It is an entire social event you have to build into your schedule, but it’s one of the many reasons Mexican culture feels so warm and welcoming.
