so now finished all 4 @tasteofatlas hummus pots. My favourite was the olive hummus. all very nice tasting but not 'best ever' at £1.47p per 100g quite pricey... I have traced the source so big thanks to them!

Mystery sample box of hummus arrived yesterday. Family are denying any involvement so the inquisition will move on to work colleagues... (review to follow)

@radiotechcon 'Stress' is different from 'pressure'. Pressure of work ca n be enjoyable, but stress is, by definition harmful.

Tesco standard price Hummus now closer to Lidl prices...

This is now my go-to Hummus. at £5.25 per kilo, its good value and consistently tastes nice. The deli round the corner sells it.

...and last but definitely not least, Lidl is a bargain at 34.5p and 39.5p per 100g. Taste-wise I also think Lidl's is the best of the own brand low fat Hummus in major supermarkets.

@Tesco on the other hand have restrained themselves to 57.5p and 63.2p. The low fat Hummus is reasonable in terms of taste.

Like buses, you wait for ages and 3 come at once. OK so I have been self-providing on the Hummus front, but finally went to @sainsburys. At 75p & 80p per 100g, prices have gone up a lot. I went for the special offer smoked Hummus which was nice.

*there wasn't a "secret Santa" in operation so it came out of the blue...

The current salmonella problem bbc.co.uk/news/business-… has hit me hard, I have 4 un-eaten pots of Lidl reduced fat hummus dated 11th November which I can't eat. Very annoying!

Lidl doing the "special offer before price rise" thing. Still one of the best tasting and cheapest though.

@LidlUK Acre Lane out of hummus this weekend, staff say it is a general shortage. Summer has arrived!

Finally spotted some low fat hummus @sainsburys - at Brixton water lane. At £1.30p for 230g its finally cheaper than @waitrose .

@waitrose (John Lewis foodhalls) just hiked prices again. But the weird price differential has one.

A friend just told me about hummusthemovie.com -obviously a "must see"!
