do you ever think about how peppers seem to be empty yet they don't contain air, but rather a mix of gasses which have different proportions than normal air (as well as elevated levels of carbon dioxide) that fluctuate as the pepper grows? I think about that a lot

@RashmanTheHorse One year I got laid off like January 16th and we still hadn’t had our holiday party yet (they kept teasing that it would be like end of month) when they asked me “any questions?” I asked if I could still come to the party, they didn’t like that

Got the invite at 9:15am but it was for 3pm later that day, so I just blew off work until then. Joined the call and the HR lady had to ask which division I belonged to, then she proceeded to read a script. It was hard not to laugh at it all

Wife had scheduled surgery at 7:15 this morning. My normal work alarm finally wakes us up at 6:50. Her alarm set for 5:45 is silently going off on her iPhone. Something that’s happened to me DOZENS of times. Nothing changes from one day to the next. Same settings. Watch and AirPods on chargers. Just from one day to the next my phone and hers will just decide to silently go off. Been like this for years. Makes no sense.
