@PaulSkallas They will be whittled away in various special interest incentives, moratoriums, etc until only the suckers are the ones left paying. This is how govt does everything.

I wonder what the end game with student loans will be. Either the government will garnish wages, or just go ahead and forgive them. Having one group pay while the other half doesn't, is pretty weird.
Roger@rdd147

20% of student loan borrowers are in default. 5% of student loan borrowers are set to enter default. 15% of student loan borrowers still don’t have to make payments under the “save” plan they entered that expires soon. The US is facing a 30%-40% student loan default crisis with balances that dwarf the mortgage crisis of 2008.

ⓘ Dogs don't have thumbs
i am going to regret saying this but i very much enjoy cooking and consider it vital to a relationship, which is why i refuse to allow it to become something that i do for someone else.

@mauddweeb This is how divorced people speak of their new spouses. She seems to have no idea how inappropriate it is to yap on about this topic publicly. In the past, this was an unspoken thing that we normies recognized implicitly, but didn't acknowledge out loud. x.com/IBIJBPM/status…
DM@IBIJBPM

@paleonormie To be honest, this is how divorcees usually talk about their new arrangements. It's a very guarded, protective posture against the other person. Remarriages are often a simulacrum, which is an unspoken truth and rather improper to talk about publicly. But here she goes again...

“For someone else” This is the problem behind most of the discourse on this Being married is about putting the other person before yourself. I put my wife’s needs above my own. She does the same for me. We love one another. Most of the anger and bitterness and miscommunication is coming from people (both sexes) who don’t put their spouse first.

I will not wire my brain to associate sex with sacrifice.

Men are RIGHTLY pissed off about the "meh, whatevs," narrative many women have around low-sex marriage. Women are RIGHTLY horrified at the "I don't feel like taking out the trash either," narrative many men have around obligation sex. We're both made for better.

There's something so viscerally gross to me about guys like this. The way they talk about sex and being good in bed is reminiscent of PUA forums BUT they also have the phrases and views of the Soy Left. It's a terrible mix.

You could be putting you wife through the mattress and making her brain turn off from never ending orgasms, but instead you’re using her like a fleshlight while she counts ceiling fan blades and dissasociates.

@xwanyex 1. Women only want to have sex if they bond first. 2. Men only want to bond if they have sex first. Most couples can navigate this chicken/egg dilemma. Emily (divorcee) and her surprisingly queen-ish white knight husband only view #1 as a legitimate and acceptable position.

Something this whole discussion has really demonstrated is that highly atypical women with 99th percentile levels of sexual neuroticism have an outsized influence on social media genderslop discourse Most married women are happily sleeping with their husbands regularly, and if there's a time when they're not 100% in the mood, they have sex anyway, happy to make their husbands happy, and don't give it a second thought. On social media however, you have HIGHLY NEUROTIC women for whom sex is an massive, anxiety-provoking deal that needs perfect setup and perfect consideration and perfect emotional handling from the man every single time. And if they don't get it, they freak out, and their freak out is INTERNAL, so the husband never knows what's going on, instead they go online and talk about Martial Rape and Abuse and how their husbands Use Them As A Fleshlight and if the husbands aren't happy with what's going on they can Go Jerk Off. The important thing to keep in mind is that these women are a very small percentage of the female pop, and don't need to be taken that seriously
emily may@emilykmay

married women, have you ever said yes to sex because you didn't want to deal with his moodiness if you said no?

Both sides of this debate, in my view, are unwilling to confront the issue head on, which is to say that men get horny and want to have sex and they’re annoyed if they can’t get it from their wives, who they feel on some level are obligated (and should want to) provide it. From the men’s point of view this is something that they desire, something that they want, something that they enjoy, something that only their wives can give them, and the general message is that this is at bottom not a serious concern. Neither side wants to take this seriously. Women just say outright that this is a crass, unimportant concern, so then men, some of whom seem to agree with that assessment, try to frame it as though the sex is really about connection and feeling and emotional completeness and really you need to have sex with us because this is how we express love in a relationship. The only way through this is just to say directly that men get horny, they want sex, and it’s very annoying when their wives won’t give it to them. The women in their lives either take this seriously and treat the concerns of their husband as something worth caring about and addressing, even if part of them thinks it’s kind of base and crass, or they don’t. And so while for many men it’s not really true that the sex itself is about connection and emotion, the lack of it is absolutely about denial and rejection and an unwillingness to provide something that the man feels is so simple to provide. From the man’s point of view it’s just like, actually I am very simple, actually my needs are very simple, actually it is very simple to provide for me what I need and what I desire, actually you have all the tools to provide it, actually it’s not even a little bit complicated. And yet.

heard. understand this perspective did you and or your team message us about this issue? I don’t remember seeing anything but I believe all kettle & fire listings have been addressed we keep our communication channel open and update accordingly whenever brands reach out. we also added the flagged feature to each listing for this purpose so any user can flag products for us to review same goes with other brands. we never intentionally left a question unanswered or rating unaddressed that we were aware of not defending our mode of operating previously, we have adjusted and are continuing to improve intensely everyday to operate at a much higher caliber please send us an email wth everything you belive is inaccurately represented and we will adreess everything urge all other brands to do this as well

@cormachayden_ Publishing falsehoods is not an "iteration". Your app makes claims about reality. You have a responsibility to the truth that you routinely ignore and calling that "messy" is a pathetic excuse. The founder mythos cosplay is tiresome, and you deserve to lose. Hopefully all of it.

@jamestmurphy_ They can’t be this stupid 🤦🏻‍♂️ “Oasis earns affiliate revenue from Amazon referral links embedded on LMNT’s own product pages—meaning Oasis profits from every click its alarming content about LMNT generates, whether the consumer ultimately purchases LMNT or a competing product”

Today we filed a lawsuit against Oasis.  Oasis misled consumers. Knowingly, repeatedly.  The case with LMNT is straightforward. It’s linked below.  But this case is about more than that to me.  This is about fabricated fear for profit.  This is about a group of online “health creators” that have lost their way. Terrorizing people - especially new parents of young kids and those with vulnerable conditions.  There are hundreds of accounts now, manufacturing scientific-sounding content, often with AI, that they know almost nothing about.  Oasis has misled millions of people, about hundreds of products - and our day in court is coming.
