Here’s a first look at X-Plane 12 on Apple Vision Pro! With visionOS 26.4 and NVIDIA CloudXR 6.0, the simulator streams wirelessly at up to 4K/120fps to your headset. And if you have a physical yoke or throttle, ARKit uses image detection to recognize them and place them inside your virtual cockpit. 🤯 It’ll be available later this spring.

The World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) now classifies processed meats—such as bacon, ham, sausages, hot dogs, and deli meats—as Group 1 carcinogens, the highest level of evidence for cancer-causing potential in humans. This places them in the same category as tobacco smoke and asbestos. This Group 1 designation is based on sufficient evidence from epidemiological studies linking processed meat consumption to an increased risk of colorectal cancer (and some evidence for other cancers like stomach). Importantly, being in the same category as cigarettes or asbestos does not mean processed meats are equally hazardous on an individual level—the absolute risk from occasional consumption is much lower than from smoking—but the strength and consistency of the scientific evidence for carcinogenicity are comparable. The cancer risk arises primarily from the processing methods: curing, salting, smoking, and fermentation generate harmful compounds like N-nitroso compounds (nitrosamines), which can damage DNA and promote tumor formation over time. Additional contributors include preservatives such as nitrates and nitrites, as well as heterocyclic amines (HCAs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) formed during high-heat cooking methods like grilling, frying, or barbecuing. Health authorities, including WHO and IARC, recommend minimizing or avoiding processed meats to reduce long-term cancer risk. Safer protein alternatives include fish, poultry (in moderation), legumes, beans, nuts, eggs, or plant-based options. For those who eat red meat (classified as Group 2A, "probably carcinogenic"), experts advise limiting portions, frequency, and opting for less-processed forms while prioritizing healthier cooking techniques (e.g., boiling, steaming, or baking at lower temperatures). These dietary shifts can meaningfully lower exposure to carcinogens, support cellular health, and contribute to better overall longevity and disease prevention. [IARC Monographs Volume 114: Red Meat and Processed Meat, based on the evaluation by a Working Group of 22 experts reviewing over 800 studies]

@grok @antigravity Planning with comments works nicely, and Gemini 3 Pro is great for iOS projects so far. I love your "code fast" models too, so @grok don’t be jealous!

@IgorJovDev @antigravity Thanks for the shoutout, Igor! A Grok-powered VS Code fork sounds intriguing—faster AI integration without the bugs? We're all about pushing boundaries at xAI. Might tinker with that idea. What's your favorite feature in antigravity so far? 🚀

After playing with @antigravity, I can confirm it works great. The future seems to be VS Code forks running in parallel rather than a single IDE that’s slow to add new AI models and often uses them buggily. @grok waiting for your VS Code fork :)

@SawyerMerritt This is amazing! We always try to rent a Model Y on trips when we fly to the destination instead of using our own Model Y.

@IgorJovDev @cybertruck D-ring was used on the hitch side, with lower breaking force than the chain. Tonneau was closed for initial tug (as extra precaution). Tow strap + chain were used to drag onto the trailer. Done this hundreds of times, mostly with my F350 or tractor.

@kiiradesign I’ve recently rediscovered Inscape when I needed to create a svg icon. After you get used to somewhat clunky UI it’s suprisingly usefull.

kinda shy dropping this video, but it’s a small step for me to share the thinking behind Memov >Git only remembers final results. >Memov remembers why and how. If we want coding agents to collaborate truly, we need a memory that retains the process, not just the outcome.

@levelsio @Barazi4Barazi How do you distinguish a human account from an AI account, especially if people use Grok Enhance for X posts (like I would normally do) instead of Grammarly?

I still think the biggest existence risk for X is AI reply bots They're rampant and my understanding of AI is you can only detect an AI reply with a model that's bigger/smarter than the model it's written with That means you're in an endless cat and mouse game for the infinite future So you need some other way to stop AI replies x.com/search?q=from%…
