Govenor Glenn Youngkin (R-VA) right now is having a town hall with Jake Tapper on CNN. Every teacher that asks a question, Youngkin thanks them for their occupation. However, one black teacher asks a question about discrimination towards teachers who are POC and in Youngkin's response he fails to thank that teacher for his profession. Youngkin banned CRT in schools and here he is doing exactly what CRT teaches. Systemic racism is real, it exists, and it permeates everything, including how we treat each other. Youngkin is wrong. History needs to be taught in its full glory, not some skewed version that makes him feel more comfortable.

@reverentgeek I've only experienced it in my current role. Migrated from SQL Server to Postgres while also migrating the application from Azure to AWS, while also moving it into k8s.

In all the years of folks arguing for ORMs so you can "change the database if we need to," did you ever experience or even hear of anyone who needed to change their database? If so (and I kind of doubt it), did it "just work?"
