The 2025 Berkshire Hathaway AGM just concluded — unsurprisingly, Warren Buffett remains deeply skeptical of Bitcoin and crypto. Buffett’s consistent stance since 2014: ✅ 2014 (CNBC) “Bitcoin is a mirage… claiming it has huge intrinsic value is a joke.” ✅ 2018 (AGM) “Bitcoin is probably rat poison squared.” ✅ 2019 (CNBC) “It does nothing. It just sits there. Like a seashell.” ✅ 2020 “Assets that produce nothing… are just speculative.” ✅ 2022 (AGM) “If you owned all the Bitcoin in the world and offered it to me for $25, I wouldn’t take it.” Charlie Munger went further: “Bitcoin is a combination of dementia and immorality,” and praised China’s crypto ban. 📌 Buffett’s core objections: 1.
