I wanted to share my updated contact info and social handles 🩵 I’m proud to continue my work as a @reformparty_uk Community Campaigner in #Portsmouth following the #LocalElections, although it is alongside personal obligations 💪 I’m not a Cllr, but want to help where I can 🙏

@AWills1995 Thanks for sharing about this horrific ordeal Aidan, I’ve got huge admiration for the man for reporting + speaking out 🙏 I completely agree that many men (and women) won’t report when this happens. The outcome can make victims feel it’s for nothing after going through it all 🩵

According to the ONS reports, there have been 162,000 cases of sexual assault towards men aged 16 and over But I have a very strong feeling that cases are much higher than this But sadly, men are much more likely than women to not report, speak out and find support because they feel ashamed and embarrassed, that they will not be believed, that support will be inadequate or unavailable or out of fear of further violence All forms of sexual violence towards men and women of all ages deserve severe punishment

It’s upsetting to hear that a man was raped in the early hours of this morning near Astoria Nightclub in #Portsmouth It happened around 3.30am on Winston Churchill Ave. A 21-year-old man has been arrested My thoughts are with the victim 🩵 portsmouth.co.uk/news/crime/man…

Brilliant day in Berkshire for a Reform UK event featuring a brilliant speech from our very own @GoodwinMJ Matt spoke about the concept of suicidal empathy on the left of politics which was insightful. Also discussed democracy and his experience in Gorton and Denton Brilliant event put on by our local teams 🩵🇬🇧🩵

@ArchiesPolitics I’m sure our manifesto will be released closer to the GE. The website is basics on policies; details will be realised closer to the time I’ve noticed we go in detail at press conferences during the year, so it’s worth watching them I understand the worry but don’t lose sight 🩵

🚨Important I support Reform, however I do need to criticise a few points On your website, your policies are bland .No proof of how it will be afforded .No proof of how much it will cost If you are elected as our next Governing party, how do the public know you will not just govern like the Tories? I'd like some clarification my support for Reform is slipping... I don't want to support a party that promises the world and delivers a globe

Admittedly I’m not big on football, but it’s sad to hear about the passing of Kenny Jackett. May he rest in peace 🕊️ My thoughts are with his friends and family at this time 🩵 Beautiful post from Portsmouth Football Club 🙏
Portsmouth FC@Pompey

Portsmouth Football Club are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Kenny Jackett, who passed away yesterday at the age of 64. Kenny will be missed by everyone at Pompey and throughout the football family. Our thoughts are with all his loved ones at this sad time.

Leland posted about Carers Week, so I'll do same Every Thursday since 2019, I've been looking after my long time school friend, Alex. He is the same age as me at 31. He has a severe learning disability, dyspraxia and used to suffer from epilepsy (though hasn't had an episode in years thankfully) I've been by his side, teaching him independence, how to navigate life and taking him out to different places with much to do. Given I have autism myself, I use all my learnt experiences and knowledge to give back to him and enable him to live the life that he wants He has come a long way, he has impressed me in how he catches public transport and how he knows the routes, numbers and times. He even conquered his fear of escalators. Little things like that show his growth I couldn't be more prouder of Alex. To Leland and all the carers in the UK and elsewhere, you are doing a fantastic job and really are making the difference ❤️ #carersweek #carer

This week is Carers week. I look after my brother, who lives with brain damage and is non-verbal. He may not speak but he's taught me lessons nobody else could, his strength and resilience is out of this world. He's the reason I got into politics. Being his advocate is one of the greatest responsibilities I'll ever carry, and I will always fight hard for what's best for him. To every carer reading this, thank you for what you do.
