New trade thread. Things look like they can get ugly. Had some SPY and IBIT calls and those are just bleeding. Some relief from my puts/hedges but not really enough to offset. Biggest position is silver (via SLV calls) since I’ve been accumulating during the draw down. Might just focus on adding to that. Will see how the gamma and charm layout change throughout the day and what the price action does. Good case for being bearish but always need to stay nimble with an administration that actively pays attention to the stock market, as well as SCOTUS potentially overturning the tariffs.

Here's what I think is actually going to happen: AI and robotics are going to just continue our current trajectory of paretomaxxing society. Everyone agentic and successful will become even more successful and everyone who isn't will become even less so and fall into the permanent underclass. Then, with all our money and power, we will through some combination of naiveté and guilt give them universal welfare. This will cause like 1% of them to escape the underclass and 99% of them to live in the pod and eat the bugs, further descending into hedonism and dysfunction. Eventually we will conclude that the elite ("the illuminati") of yesteryear were right all along and that the soft euthanization/eugenics of giving them endless pleasure and abortions is the only merciful choice. They will (rightfully) see it as us trying to kill them off and attempt to overthrow the chess board, committing acts of violence and terrorism against the system. Whether they succeed in sending us back to the stoneage world in which they are well optimized or whether the elite successfully eradicate them and bring humanity forward into it's next "evolution" cannot be predicted and is thus still TBD.
