BAD NEWS: we've all broken God's law, earned eternal punishment in Hell & can't save ourselves. GOOD NEWS: Jesus Christ paid our sin debt by dying on the cross & rising from the dead & offers his righteousness and eternal life to us. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ & be saved.

@LizzieMarbach I have a feeling that some of these same guys saying "he shouldn't be telling his wife's story" would also be saying "she shouldn't be saying anything on social media, bake me a cake"...

The comments of this post are so depraved, even from many Christians. Praying for this beautiful couple and that God would grant them peace & joy. May God help them ignore everyone speaking evil against them.

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

Brain geniuses: AI will liberate us from work, and we'll all be rich! Almighty God (Gen. 3:19): "By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.” Worth considering!

You will live on the AI slop farm. You’ll have 10,000 acres and your front door will lead directly to a small 8x8 foot swamp. Three horses will drink from the water, with decapitated jockeys on their backs. One of your horses will be the longest horse in the world. Your fences will kind of veer off into the grass from time to time. There’s three shutters on some of your windows and a shutter to the left of your front door. You have no driveway and you own no Gucci bags. You are happy.

Yet again, I'm baffled by a politician accused of bad behavior who refused to resign for months only to resign after more details became public and outrage grew. We've seen this in #Oklahoma from members of both parties over the past year. nondoc.com/2026/03/21/emb…

On this date in 1748, a slave-trader was converted on the Atlantic Ocean. Near the end of his life, John Newton said: “Although my memory is fading, I remember two things very clearly: I am a great sinner and Christ is a great Savior.” Thank God for amazing grace.

@Joseph_Spurgeon This is why Christian Nationalism as its own thing is dying, and being morphed into something less Protestant and more ecumenical/secular. Take the "Statement on Christian Nationalism". It was very Protestant, yet some of those authors are cozying up with Catholics.

When I was in the military, we had a term for someone who did stupid and boneheaded things that harmed their battle buddies: Blue Falcon. There are a whole lot of Blue Falcons in the Christian nationalist movement. Men who are trying to fight for godly civil leaders who promote the true faith are constantly dealing with flak because of Blue Falcons saying stupid stuff like, “We need a Protestant Hitler.” These foolish men have ruined any kind of movement among normal Christian people with their obsession with Jews and Nazis. And then, sadly, there are too many CNs who have bought the lie that they cannot police their own yards, so they let the fools crap all over the grass so that it stinks to high heavens. But at least they did not give in to the liberal neighbor who pointed out the crap in the yard. Ain’t going to let a Karen tell me I gotta clean up. I believe that civil magistrates are to promote the true religion and want to see more work toward that end. In the military, we got rid of Blue Falcons.

“In 1909, Cyrus Scofield wrote a reference Bible and said he was going to translate it into more modern English and give his interpretation of what it means. The Scofield Bible is one man’s interpretation, and it became one of the best-selling Bibles. He took lines like Genesis 12:3 and said this means we have to support Jews in Israel forever. That’s what the Scofield Bible says it means, and that’s what Christian Zionists believe.” @MichaelTLester

After listening to Michael O'Fallon and James Lindsay’s podcasts, the conclusion is inevitable: Crises are being encouraged and even manufactured in order to prepare the environment. The eventual goal is to fully nationalize all major industries and run them via policies set not by individual nations but by an international body of bureaucrats. The nations will continue to exist in name, but only in the way England has a queen. This will combine with anti-free-speech policies and laws, overt socialism, and a surveillance state. “Will” is not quite accurate. Much of this has already happened. The legal and technological structures are already in place. What remains is only for those in control to fight it out amongst themselves to establish who will be the final arbiter. “Imagine a boot stamping on a human face—forever.” That is the meaning of the policies and plans of the 2030 Plan for Sustainable Development, provided by the World Economic Forum. I do not know what can be done at this point. But you should prepare yourself and your family. Prepare morally and physically for deprivation and for a great persecution. I don’t know what is coming. But I would suggest dropping the assumption that the future will look like the past in the US in our lifetimes. Spiritual preparedness is the most important thing. Anyone reading this: Make sure you are living a life pleasing to God and make sure you are reading the Bible and praying and trusting God. Also make sure your own family is doing the same and make sure your family is well-ordered. As far as physical preparedness, there are better summaries out there if you do a web search, but I suggest: Make a lot of money and save more of it than usual. Hold some cash. Own some silver. Grow your personal network. Get to know disaster preppers. Know physical addresses. Get in good physical shape. Be capable of walking 100 miles. Be armed. Keep some survival basics on hand. Keep your gas tank fairly full. Depending on where you live and how you live, there are a lot of other factors to think through. It is possible that things will stop getting worse and start getting better. But a bright future is not as likely as it used to be. Understand what normalcy bias is. Begin taking precautions. Begin learning about survival principles for people in situations of national emergency. That is not all you can do. You can also learn to speak out and teach true principles to other people. For more about that idea, see the comment below.

I was today years old when I learned that Dimitri Tiomkin wrote the score for 'It's A Wonderful Life'. I should have known - the score is so similar to other works like High Noon and Gunfight at OK Corral!
