Last thing I’ll say on this matter for now:
- This administration is vile and terrible, and anyone who still chooses to support the Tinubu regime in the face of these senseless killings should introspect.
- Raising valid concerns about the opposition should never, in any sane political climate, trigger this level of ruckus.
- And finally, criticizing the opposition does not equate support the government of the day.

My liking for Obi goes even beyond his not being corrupt. Obi’s lifestyle should be a standard for Nigerian leaders.
Nigeria, by every standard, is poor. If anyone doubts me, compare the annual budgets of smaller countries like Singapore, South Korea, the Netherlands, and even South Africa, and you will see that nothing on earth should warrant our politicians living the kind of flamboyant lifestyle they live amidst 140 million people living below the poverty line.
It takes a lot to be a multi-billionaire and a politician and still live the lifestyle Obi lives. Some will mention Buhari, but Buhari wasn't very wealthy. It takes a man who has conquered greed to live like Obi, without pretense.

Let me say something that I have observed over the years. Peter Obi is the only prominent politician (I am aware of), that has never been arrested & prosecuted for any fraudulent or corruption charges. Going by what we have seen many politicians do in recent times, should Peter Obi not have done same if he was guilty? No matter how wealthy you are as a politician, you would not want to go to prison or be charged with false claims. It's clear that Peter Obi is miles ahead when it comes to integrity and accountability. I cannot say same for others. Peter Obi is not a saint (you may say), but we have seen other "lesser devils" being made to bow and cross carpet to avoid prosecution. Peter has remained untouchable. If you have a good conscience, you'd know that Peter Obi is truly different. End.

I don’t believe Peter Obi (ADC) can govern this country and deliver the kind of transformation we actually want.
Beyond the alliances with the same recycled wicked political class, I still have his post notifications on from my 2023 fangirl phase and I’ve taken time to read his positions on core economic issues.
It’s disappointing 💔💔.
Look at his comments on Sani Abacha, the tax bill, and several key policy matters, some of which were quietly deleted. You read them and just think, “nah… this is underwhelming.” 💔
Then there’s the part where we all pretend not to notice his wingmen; Dino Melaye, Nasir El-Rufai, even Atiku Abubakar all orbiting the same movement. Or are we to believe they’ve suddenly become saints cause they now associate with him?
At some point, we have to admit we are just repackaging the same old corrupt system that brought us into this mess we are, with a cleaner brand name.

Maybe the 2023 version of Peter Obi felt like that person.
But 2027? I’m not convinced.

I wasn’t even looking for anything. That’s the funny part.
I went to his place like a normal girlfriend. Everything was calm. He was in the kitchen, I was in the room, and his dog was just staring at me like it had something to say. This dog doesn’t even like me like that, so I was already confused.
Next thing, it stood up, started walking, then turned back to check if I was following. I don’t know why I followed it, curiosity sha. It took me straight to his wardrobe.
I even laughed and said, “what is inside here?” The dog scratched the wardrobe door.
At that point I knew this was weird.
I opened it.
Tell me why the first thing I saw was a bright pink satin bonnet I have NEVER seen before in my life. Not mine. Not anything I’ve ever worn. Not even my style.
My heart didn’t even break yet, I was just confused. I picked it up and just stood there staring like explanation would appear. The dog sat beside me… watching… waiting… like it had been waiting for this moment.
He walked in and saw me holding it.
Silence.
I asked calmly, “whose bonnet is this?”
This man looked me in my eyes and said, “my cousin’s.”
I didn’t shout. I just turned and looked at the dog.
The dog barked immediately.
No hesitation.
That bark finished me 😭
Because why did it sound like “this man is lying”??
I asked him again. Same answer. “My cousin.”
I dropped the bonnet back, closed the wardrobe, and carried my bag. No drama.
The dog followed me to the door.
Now the craziest part?
As I was leaving, the dog didn’t follow him. It followed ME outside and stood there like it was making sure I actually left.
That was when it hit me.
Even the dog was tired of his nonsense.
I didn’t argue. I didn’t cry there. I just left with my dignity and one solid realization:
If a man is cheating, sometimes the only honest one in the house is the pet.

Next thing… I got the job
