Posting content is easy. Building something from it is where it gets real. I can film, edit, and upload all day, but if I’m not paying attention to what’s actually working, what I’m saying, and how it’s landing, I’m just staying busy. I’ve started looking at my content less like “did I post today?” and more like “did this actually move anything forward?” Because there’s a difference between showing up and building something that grows. #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

Being invited onto the Wave 7 AHA mentorship call last night to share a little of my journey from Wave 6 felt really full circle 🧡 Sometimes you need to be in a room with people who understand how much this path can ask of you, and how much it can take to keep going when things feel slow. The slow seasons, the self-doubt, and the constant showing up when the results are not there yet, those are not empty days. That is the foundation. Every hard day you pull through is teaching you how to keep going, trust your voice, and build something that can actually last in content creation. That is why a community like AHA from @mehrrajputUGC matter so much to me. Community is everything in this space and heres the most beautiful example I want to share with y’all… I had my AHA Wave 6 mentees jump on a call with Wave 7 last night and it reinforced something most creators don’t want to hear: This only works if you put in the reps. It’s easy to look at someone’s day 100 and spiral about your day 1, but every single person on that call started confused, inconsistent, and figuring it out in real time. What changed wasn’t luck. It was execution. And that’s the part people skip. Everyone wants the outcome, very few are willing to operate like it’s a real business. But that wasn’t the best part, this was… I asked them 2 hours before the call if they could come on. Almost all of them showed up. @MalaikaMHere is literally in Vietnam right now and still set a 5:30am alarm to be there. That’s the standard - That’s the difference. And that’s why they’re getting results 🎉🤍 #ugc #ugccommunity #ugccreators

I actually have thought about this question tooo many times to count 😭 It's always different but I say "I do social media, like making videos for brands to use as ads and on their pages" but it's always followed up with something else so not sure what the best response is lmaooo

Ok seriously how do you guys explain the job that you do when someone asks? 🧐 - "oh I work in social media marketing" - "so I do UGC.......do you know what that is?" - "I do content creation" - "oh I just work in social media" - "soo... i make ads for different brands" I just been switching it up depending on who I'm talking to and how much I am willing to explain when they have a follow up question. 😄 #ugc #ugccommunity #contentcreator

Crazy how the same place can hold two completely different versions of you. I walked past a spot I used to sit at all the time last year. I remember being there, feeling completely lost, praying, overthinking everything about my business, and honestly just scared of what I was doing. I wanted things to change, but I wasn’t really moving. Just sitting in the same thoughts, hoping something would just happen lol. Today I was there again after a while and realized… I’m still a little scared. But this time I’m actually doing something about it. I’m showing up, getting uncomfortable, and figuring it out as I go! I’ve been the busiest EVER these past few weeks & I’m so eternally grateful!!! Thinking doesn’t replace doing the reps. I used to spend so much time thinking about what would work that I’d delay actually posting anything. I’d plan, adjust, rethink allll my ideas, and by the time I was ready, I either didn’t like it anymore or never posted it at all. The “problems” you deal with can become part of your UGC USP. - I’ve dealt with dandruff and KP my whole life - I wear glasses or else I genuinely can’t see - I’m getting braces soon (!!) Those things shape how I understand certain frustrations, routines, and decision-making moments in a way a creator without those experiences might not. That’s the beauty of UGC. The things you’ve lived through can make your content more relatable, your perspective more useful, and your creativity stronger for the right audience. When you’re planning your content, don’t just stop at deciding what to post. Something that’s been helping me a lot is planning everything out ahead of time, captions, keywords, all of it, and keeping it saved in drafts so it’s ready to go. 📂 It makes posting feel so much easier because you’re not figuring everything out in the moment.
