Yes, I do think it’s fair. There’s a line that gets crossed, he’s the President of the United States, not just some random person off the street. At some point, you have to ask where the disrespect stops. This kind of attitude is part of why things feel so divided right now—there’s a lack of basic respect. Speaking about him like he’s a nobody ignores the position he holds. And jokes about him being dead can push unstable people in a dangerous direction, like what we saw happen the other night at the dinner.
