People tend to downplay how good Juan Mata was at Chelsea. 🔵 In his first season, he scored 12 goals and recorded 20 assists in all competitions 🔵 In his second season, he scored 19 goals and recorded 35 assists in all competitions. 🔵 He won back to back Chelsea's player of the year ahead of proper legends like Drogba, Terry, Lampard and Hazard. 🔵 He made the all important assist to Drogba to equalize for us against Bayern in the Champions League final, which we later went on to win, our very first. 🔵 When he was at Chelsea, he was better than Hazard. He controlled games and dropped assists like it was nothing. 🔵 His performance made us win the Champions League and Europa League. Cesc Fabregas is a Legend at this club and a fantastic ball passer, but Juan Mata was way better than him⚡
