As much as we joke about Arsenal pulling all of our players out of the friendlies The reality is actually that the nations are actually seeing our players turn up for duty knackered, knowing the players are returning to a club still in every competition left Those nations are agreeing it’s in everyone’s best interest to protect those players before the World Cup, by giving them a week of rest rather than running them further into the ground For some reason, this has some people absolutely rattled
