the best part of the co-working sessions we do at @hsrhackerhouse are - 70% of the folks are people who've come before - 20% of the folks are referrals - 10% are new folks who're coming for the first time retention & word of mouth <3

walked into a cafe in Bangalore today and this is what I saw different people doing: 1. a dude watching Karpathy's lectures. 2. 4 uncles talking about software + hardware + marketing. 3. a girl reading Albert Camus and her (assumingly) boyfriend showing her the thinnest iPad promo on Apple's website. 4. two dudes working on making a hiring assignment for infra devs to hire in their startup. 5. like 2-3 people with their IDE open 6. a girl treating a wall-sided table as a standing desk with her laptop in a laptop stand 7. a dude with a yubikey plugged into his macbook BLR is so for real SF vibes it is crazy.

We got keys to our first official house in San Francisco today. It is a big day for us. We’re having our first cozy weekly demo day here on a bunch of mattresses and boxes. 🥹 And this is just the beginning. 🫶⚡️

This past weekend, we threw an epic retreat for 25 @USC builders, artists, filmmakers, and more to work on anything that isn’t school. This is what it looked like: people building with opencv, making iOS apps, 360° videos, scriptwriting, etc cc @socraticainfo

Last year was the most intense year of my life. Closed my previous company in January after 2 years. Hacked every hackathon I could learning to use AI. Built lots of fun solo-projects. Got married to my best friend @TatianaNav03 . Got accepted into @_buildspace SF1. Drove across the country and moved to SF. Lived in couches, dorms, motels, etc. Did uber at nights. Met my cofounder @jecastillof and started @Kontigolatam Helped 2000+ unbanked people in Latam. Got investment from @fdotinc and several amazing angels. Got accepted into @HF0Residency and @OrangeDAOxyz . Super excited for what’s coming and ready to accelerate this 2024. Thanks to all the amazing people I met last year who helped me in one way or another, SF is truly special. 🧡
