@Riftwalkergame Looks freaking good! Option 1 stands out to me! Just me though!

@eliana_jordan Definitely a bad idea now unfortunately. So many people are desperate on this platform that they end up competing with you. Even worse is you give them the playbook to how you started succeeding.

@levelsio Wait till it rains. You’ll see some of the wildest shit.

@PirateCroc9 @Math_files @grok The quick answer is no, the gap between earth to Venus to his measurements of the earth is about 50 times bigger than what I said.
But for people who know the size of Venus, this is still a fun comment.

In 1798, a scientist effectively “weighed” the Earth — without leaving his laboratory.
The English scientist Henry Cavendish designed an incredibly sensitive experiment.
Inside a quiet wooden shed, he hung a horizontal rod from a very thin wire. Two small lead spheres were attached to the ends of the rod.
Nearby, he placed two much larger lead balls.
Because of gravity, the large spheres slightly pulled the smaller ones. The force was extremely tiny — so small that the rod twisted by only a minute fraction of a degree.
Yet that tiny twist held a big secret.
By carefully measuring this small movement, Cavendish determined the strength of the gravitational attraction between objects.
From this, scientists could calculate the mass of the entire Earth.
His estimate was remarkably close.
Cavendish calculated Earth’s mass to be about 6 × 10²⁴ kilograms, while modern measurements give 5.97 × 10²⁴ kilograms.
Sometimes the biggest discoveries come from measuring the smallest forces.

We started doing “AEO” and it’s actually started working. It’s slow, but we are getting results from LLMs like ChatGPT. That’s with SEO stuff plus adding in JSON at the top of the page for LLMs to easily ingest. We still get SE traffic too, which is wild. But not sure how much of that is bots 😂
Beautiful thing is you don’t need a consultant lol. Just add JSON at the top of your marketing pages with structure. Still an experiment but it’s been working for us!

As a B2B SaaS this terrifies me:
I have basically stopped clicking on google results. The AI summary is good enough, and for other things I just ask ChatGPT.
My business relies on SEO, so my own actions are filling me with existential dread.
Currently we are not wildly changing our strategy.
I am working under the assumption that as long as we make it good for people (SEO) that's also making it good for bots.
I'm also experimenting with youtube content, as I have noticed that my consumption of video content has at least stayed the same or increased, LLMs have not affected that (yet).

@fursov_v @signalapp 100%. So many people don’t get this. Human trust is always going to be the weakest link
English

@signalapp The weakest point in cybersecurity is still human trust.

We are aware of recent reports regarding targeted phishing attacks that have resulted in account takeovers of some Signal users, including government officials and journalists. We take this very seriously.
To be clear: Signal’s encryption and infrastructure have not been compromised and remain robust. These attacks were executed via sophisticated phishing campaigns, designed to trick users into sharing information – SMS codes and/or Signal PIN – to gain access to users’ accounts. 1/4

@yongfook Even then, not really. I went through that process after having an iPhone 11 (jumped to the 16e or whatever the fuk) and everything changed so much, I had to reset up anyway lol.
Only thing that kinda saved was my iCloud username. Still had to put in my password 😂
English

Note to self: next time just start with a fresh install, don't bother transferring data.
All critical logins like iCloud, Google, need to be re-authed anyway on the new device after transfer.
All banking apps need the device re-setup to auth transactions.
My photos are already in iCloud.
Apps all get re-downloaded via wifi, they don't transfer across.
There is zero benefit to using the "transfer data" flow, besides maybe preserving some of your system preferences.

Bought a new iPhone (17) - about 3 years since I last upgraded. I thought the process of setting up a new phone from an existing one would be massively improved in that time, but no, it's still a slow, clunky, over-complicated mess. 2 hours in and I'm still faffing.
