I personally just want to decrease the wealth gap. Why should the CEO make 1000% more than the workers? Not the entrepreneurs, inventors or the creators of the product. But a CEO making 43 million a year could certainly do well on 40 million and use that extra 3 million to improve pay or bump up benefits. It might not be much but would prevent the wage gap from expanding.

You know Gusso, I thought the same thing. One specific issue for an example. I believed that DOGE went through the Social Security system and eliminated people who were cheating, still collecting Grandpa’s check, dead people, fake disability and made up people. So that now the Social Security division should have been cleared out and up and running smoothly. Today, VP Vance announced a new committee with members from every department in order to clean up fraud in the government. Now I wonder what DOGE really did? Is Social Security free from fraud now? Or was it really a smoke screen for something else? More reason for me to totally distrust the entire Trump regime.

John, that’s a lie. Democrats do not want open borders. They, like Republicans, want a system that works to provide a legal, safe means of entry for interested immigrants. And some means to keep immigrants who are working and establishing small businesses, buying homes contributing taxes, (they contribute more than they collect in assistance) Also John, I truly believe that Trump walked in hoping to establish a dictatorship of some sort (“Sometimes we need a dictatorship” D. Trump.) This was reinforced by Miller, Project 2025 and the Heritage Foundation; Move more power to the Executive Branch. “No one should question the power of the President!” Stephen Miller. As long as you are pushing for Trump to be the Supreme Commander of the world, we will need No Kings Protests to tell people that we still want a government where power is shared among our three branches; the Executive, Legislative and the Judicial, according to our Constitution.

Really Brian?! Why should any American citizen tolerate being insulted, harassed, disrespected and threatened without any recourse to respond?! Our President feels as if he can bully, insult and discredit the Governor of California without consequences. There is nothing in the Constitution that supports the notion that the President deserves more respect than everyone, simply because he is the President of the United States of America! There are ‘no Kings in America.’ I believe in the First Amendment. If the President insulted me, I believe I have the freedom to insult, tease or jest in return if I felt it worth my efforts.

No- he has made it more hateful. The military are less disciplined ( did you see the sloppy marching at the President’s Birthday parade?) Hegseth, in obeying Trump’s rules, fired all the knowledgeable and experienced, and professional leadership, and replaced them with those without knowledge or experience, only MAGA loyalty as their qualification. Hegseth, like the President, wants the military to obey because, ‘he said so.’

How did you erroneously conclude that I believe that Joe Biden has no cognitive issues? Just as I believe for Trump, they both have cognitive issues. It’s a matter of severity and consistency. As difficult as it was, the Democrats convinced President Biden to step down. And now the Republicans think nothing of presenting Trump up front, saying things like ‘there is no War in Iran, we’re negotiating with Iran, we won the war with Iran,’ in one speech!
