What happened to me wasn’t just personal ,it was the true definition of an oppressive system reaching beyond borders.
I traveled from Phoenix, spent my time, my money, and my energy to support art, to support culture, to support one of our own. What was advertised as a public event turned into something else entirely.
A checkpoint.
A gate. A decision made not on respect, not on contribution ,but on political belief.
I was blocked. Not because I didn’t belong. But because I spoke.
And that should worry everyone.
When art becomes conditional…
When entry depends on silence…
When creators are punished for thinking…
Then we are no longer building a culture ,we are controlling one.
This is bigger than me.
This is about:
• Artists being forced into silence
• Industry leaders being pushed out
• A culture being shaped by fear instead of freedom
How can music grow when voices are filtered?
How can creativity thrive when truth is punished?
You cannot claim to promote culture while suppressing the very people who build it.
And if this can happen here ,in America ,then it shows just how far this influence is willing to go.
I will not be silent.
Because silence is exactly what they want.💪
