You could see how an LLM like Claude on top of this system would work. It's also clear that the LLM *as a chatbot* isn't doing the core work. Turn that LLM into an agent though... and that's a different conversation.

In today's edition of the @BigTechnology Agenda Setter newsletter, @Kantrowitz and I wrote about the potential fallout from @AnthropicAI's fight with the Pentagon and some parallels with @Apple's historic fight with the FBI.
A decade ago last month, @tim_cook wrote a blog post explaining Apple's refusal to build an encryption backdoor for the iPhone, warning the "implications of the government’s demands are chilling."
Apple’s fight helped solidify its reputation as a privacy-focused company, but will Anthropic see the same kind of halo effect?
There are early signs it might, with @claudeai rising in the App Store and #deletechatgpt trending.
What's less clear is how long it'll last.
