We can confirm that following a SFA hearing, Callum Slattery has been handed a four-match suspension, two of which are suspended. We will watch and expect consistency going forward so that Callum isn’t treated differently to any players who are accused of simulation. 📝 bit.ly/3NZM8b6

@MotherwellFC Correct decision and sets the correct precedent going forward, however there should be countless suspensions also handed out this season and it’s unfair that this is the only one this year. Consistency is a joke to the SFA

It would then be the same every season based on league position.

@dufcway @GoggsyNineNine Agree as well, we are a great team and deservingly won the game although both goals were a bit sloppy, regardless of wether it was a penalty or not that var camera angle needs chucked in the bin. How on earth does var cost over a million pounds a season with cameras like that!

@pieandbov Starts to push the boundaries of what actually is a DOGSO when soo much is still to be played, do ref’s now take in to account how fast a player is? How quickly they can accelerate? Speed of the ball? This game raises more questions than it answers

On the red cards last night, I think everyone can safely agree that the Dennis Geiger one was a no-brainer, a ridiculous challenge which left no choice but a straight red.
On the Priestman one, he is obviously unfortunate in that he slips but that is irrelevant in terms of DOGSO, as he does trip Cameron.
It looks to me like the goalkeeper is probably going to get there ahead of Cameron but it’s very close so I can see why it’s given.
The Liam Gordon one is incredibly harsh though in my opinion. Toyosi is extremely fast but he’s got so far to go and two Motherwell players who have the potential to catch him.
It’s not an obvious goal scoring opportunity for me, a yellow was the right decision IMHO.

11v11 or 10v10 we win that game, man down and still in control. 9 men is always tough, Gordon just is not a good enough player with the ball at his feet in this system and i feel for connely as well, similar error to ward’s at celtic park and look how he has kicked on from that.
