The GISP ice core only goes as far as 1855 so misses the entire modern period, it’s localised to 1 spot thousands of meter up an ice sheet, it doesn’t allow for vertical changes over the period.

I'm going to upset a few people with this one... The climate is changing. It always has! But I don't believe we're facing a man-made climate crisis. I believe we're being sold one. Earth has gone through ice ages, warm periods and times with no polar ice caps long before humans were driving cars. CO₂ makes up around 0.04% of our atmosphere, and the UK's contribution to global emissions is tiny. Should we stop polluting? Absolutely. Should we be handing governments more power, more taxes and more control over our lives in the name of "saving the planet"? Absolutely not. Watch the video before you tell me I'm wrong.
