Yesterday’s subway flooding reminds me of #vanshnook’s point that Hillside Ave is too flood-prone for an F train extension. But what if that’s why we should? Inspired by KL’s SMART Tunnel, we could extend the F and build stormwater infrastructure alongside it.

Probably NYC’s fastest potential transit expansion: Convert the Port Washington @LIRR to RER-style regional rail. No new tracks. No new stations. Just OMNY fare gates, subway frequency, and equity for Northeast Queens. @GovKathyHochul

Starting June 29, 2025, we are increasing bus service along 16 local routes across Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island!
