This league won’t last (shocker). Any pro football that isn’t the NFL just has no shot, but they keep trying.

A reason for at least a little bit of hope when it comes to the Royals.
The Royals are 0-5 in one-run games.
The worst franchise in baseball over the last 30 years in one-run games is the Cubs at .412.
If the Royals had just played .400 ball in one-run games, they'd be 9-10 and no one would be panicking.
Without a bonafide closer, they're probably not going to be great at one-run games but they're gonna be better than they have been.
No reason to abandon ship just yet.

This is a fair point. It feels like Jac has struggled more than he actually has due to the lack of RBI and power.
.275/.362/.392 with a .345 wOBA. Second on the team in wOBA, third in OPS. That’s not exactly a high bar though, but still he’s been better than it feels.

@royalsminors Why do fans keep saying Cags is t hitting. Hes 2nd on the team in avg, 2nd in OPS and 3rd in hits. Is he jacking HRs no. But hes certainly hitting the ball ok compared to many others on the team.

Comparing the players last year, KU upgraded, and in a big way. Tiller has three years of eligibility left and tons of upside, but it’s hard to argue that Dawes isn’t an upgrade at this point in their careers.

NEWS: Kansas transfer Bryson Tiller has committed to Missouri, his agency @SerosPartners told @LeagueRDY. The 6-foot-11 forward out of Atlanta, Georgia played one season in Lawrence. Former four-star recruit who started 31 of 35 games. He averaged 7.9PPG, 6.1RPG, 1.0APG and 1.3BPG as a freshman.
