Time for voter 🆔. I blocked everyone I find offensive, now I just see ads. I repurpose dead dinosaurs for my diesel truck. Erdős problem no more.

This picture infuriates me. Imagine if black men made a white woman feel uncomfortable on public transportation

@TechnomageDoge @thechosenberg no savings account. Dollar cost averaging into index funds or ETF when you are young. CD when retired. Annuity if you do not need it and want to roll over income without tax burden in taxable account. This is not advice.

@johnsmi92154793 @thechosenberg Have never listened to Dave Ramsey. Advice my parents gave me. It is easier to live below your means if you were born poor and achieve as an adult and keep same practices.

@TheLaurenChen Endeavour on Masterpiece. Superb acting and story lines. Professor T (English version). Quirky murder mystery. Stargate Atlantis has proper ending.

What's the best show you're watching right now? Need recommendations. Sci-fi, fantasy, horror, mystery, thrillers. No romance or sappy stuff please 🙂

Can someone explain this to me like I'm 5 years old? Who exactly does the U.S. owe its $40+ trillion debt to?

It’s sad to see quite a bit of bickering between Britons & Americans this July 4th weekend. On both sides. America is such a great nation primarily because it was founded & formed by British people. Britons should be proud of America. Americans should be grateful to Britain.

250 years, and your empire has been reduced to a single island the size of Michigan, with a GDP barely higher than Mississippi, the poorest of our fifty states. Enjoy your warm beer in that unairconditioned old pub. Don’t talk too much shit online though, you might get arrested.

July 4th wrapped up one of the most severe heat waves the United States has experienced in years. As the nation celebrated its 250th birthday dangerous heat continued to affect areas from New England to the Southeast with temperatures in the 90s and low 100s. Philadelphia is forecast to hit around 100 degrees Fahrenheit while Washington DC may see another day above 100 degrees possibly setting a record for the hottest Fourth of July. New York City is expected to reach the upper 90s with high humidity making it feel even hotter. The heat has already set records. Central Park reached 100 degrees for the first time since 2012. Washington DC recorded 102 degrees on both Thursday and Friday breaking daily records that lasted over 120 years. Philadelphia hit 103 degrees tying a mark from 1901. The effects are widespread. Washington DC canceled its July 4th parade due to the extreme conditions. The Great American State Fair on the National Mall delayed its opening. In the New York area thousands lost power as the grid struggled under the demand. Health authorities have issued strong warnings. The Centers for Disease Control reported very high levels of heat related illnesses in the Northeast. In Pennsylvania a 68 year old man died while working outdoors in temperatures over 100 degrees. Researchers attribute much of the intensity to climate change. A quick analysis by World Weather Attribution concluded that such heat and humidity would have been virtually impossible without the warming caused by fossil fuel emissions. Thunderstorms are also possible. The combination of heat and moisture may trigger severe weather during celebrations in the Mid Atlantic and Northeast including lightning strong winds and potential disruptions to fireworks. Temperatures are expected to moderate on Sunday across much of the East Coast. This holiday has demonstrated how extreme heat can transform a national celebration into a serious public health concern.
