Apologies, haven’t read yet so likely you have my question answered in the study - how do you measure and account for increased genomic diversity that one intuitively would expect to find in multi linguistic populations?

Thanks for featuring this major breakthrough in advancing personalized precision oncology in kids beyond genome sequencing to gain additional insight through proteomics and rapid testing of treatment options in personalized xenografts. A great team from all across Canada 🇨🇦!

Childhood cancers respond differently to treatments compared to adult cancers. With fewer options available, Dr. James Lim is developing a new way of predicting which drugs would be most effective by using chicken eggs as a host model. More: bcchr.info/4fWqDRl #BCCHR2024

@DocDellaire @majuarcaa I am not saying that you should not disclose. Of course you have to disclose if disclosure is required or you are lying. I am questioning why the use of a ghostwriter/genAI suddenly needs to be disclosed when it is accessible to all but nobody cared when only few could afford it

@Lange_Lab @majuarcaa You are aghast that you somehow plagiarized, you deny plagiarism but your only defense is to confirm that you did indeed use ChatGPT and did not disclose this to CIHR. CIHR pulls your grant as you lied. So basically use gen AI at your own risk if you don't disclose #FAFO 2/2

@majuarcaa I think the guidelines are important as using LLMs trained on copyright materials (litigation and negotiations are on-going with New York Times and Getty Images) can result in copyright infringement and plagiarism that may not fall under "fair use" as it can't be attributed. 1/2

@majuarcaa I think it makes sense to require this (and grammarly would fall under this) but mostly for entirely different reasons. We need to learn how to use it well - and only if we know how others use it can we as a community learn what works and what does not.
