My daughter cheered for over 10 years and those male cheerleaders were incredibly valuable teammates, because of their strength and athleticism. They could do gravity defying tumbling tricks, and hold the girls up and throw them around like dolls. The coed teams were always the ones that drew the huge crowds and their routines were the most iconic and exciting.

Literally every other politician who has been in the Whitehouse in the last 50 years has known a problem existed and yet they chose to paper over it rather than addressing it. You are worried about a couple months down market when people have been talking about China overtaking us and US not having unipolar hegemon status? Do you want to live in a world where lots of countries are competing and have nukes? Do you want to live in a world where we don't have the manufacturing base to support leaving the planet? Why don't we choose to be the generation that says enough is enough and we actually take on the problems in front of us and solve them instead of constantly shriveling from like 2 seconds of pain? This is the country that built moon rockets and tamed a continent. If we don't have the will to break free from the muck and actually try something rather than just accepting our fate, what are we even doing?
